June 7, 2023 — Announcement: Phase 1A Lottery
PHASE 1A LOTTERY
We are excited to announce that the Stables Village lottery application will open Thursday June 8th at 10am. To be considered for the lottery your application will need to include a pre-qualification letter from a mortgage lender stating that the applicant is qualified to purchase one of the units available in Phase 1A. Attached is a map of available units and price points for each unit. The website is the best place to get the most current information and floor plans for available units www.stablesvillage.com. All applicants who complete the application in its entirety will be entitled to one lottery entry. Applicants who work in the Upper Blue Basin will be entitled to an additional lottery entry and will need to provide documentation of employment in the Upper Blue. Applicants who have lived or worked in Summit County for more than 10 years will be entitled to an additional lottery entry and will need to provide documentation in their application.
Necessary Documents for Application:

Proof of working 30 hours / week in Summit County

Proof of working in the Upper Blue Basin (qualifies for an extra lottery submission)

Applicants will have until Sunday June 25th at midnight to apply and enter the lottery. Please contact the Town of Breckenridge at TOBhousing@townofbreckenridge.com with any questions regarding the application or initial lottery process.

On May 11th, 2023, there will be an open house for Stables Village, the new Breckenridge local workforce neighborhood. It will be held at the Breckenridge Recreation Center from 4:00pm - 7:00pm. We encourage anyone who is interested in learning more about this neighborhood to come! The developer, Suzanne Sabo with Stables Village, LLC, and her team will be there in addition to Town of Breckenridge staff and lenders. Expect to learn more about this development regarding unit types, how and when to apply for the Summit Combined Housing Authority's lottery process, mortgage questions etc.

April 11, 2023 — Master Plan Approved
The Stables Village neighborhood master plan was approved by Town Council on April 11th, 2023. This will be a new workforce housing neighborhood in Breckenridge that will include: 5 single family homes, 38 duplexes, and 18 triplexes for purchase. The homes will be net zero and the development is intended to be carbon neutral. The builder is projected to break ground on home construction in the Fall of 2023. The developer, Suzanne Sabo with Stables Village, LLC, and her team are aiming to have the first units move-in-ready by Spring 2024. Prices are anticipated to be high $300s to high $700s.
